iPad 2 - ad hoc windows 7

i trying internet connection on ipad 2 connecting wirelessly ad hoc network created on laptop using windows 7.

have heard rumor possible through changing windows firewall settings.

not want use connectify.

can't believe apple made difficult connect ad-hoc network on windows. joke. can please help?

 

surely it's not apple's fault if it's difficult create ad-hoc networks on windows, microsoft's?

anyway, if have windows version other home starter edition, set ad-hoc network going network , sharing center, click "setup connection or network," click "setup adhoc network" , follow wizard.

don't have starter edition test above, can't guarantee work, give go. luck.
