Help installing mac OSX 10.4 on a totally wiped computer

i totally destroyed desktop (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1321333&highlight=i+accidentally+deleted+mac+hd). purchased firewire cable instructed , booted destroyed mac in target disk-mode , wiped clean. have firewire cable, working mac laptop running same os , mac 10.4.1 tiger restore disc! how mac osx , running on clean desktop? appreciated

download carbon copy , install on working laptop.
connect 2 systems via fw cable, , start destroyed computer in target disk mode, (power while pressing 't' key)
run carbon copy on computer , clone system onto hard drive of destroyed computer.
reboot problem computer , should boot identical laptop, same users , settings etc.
