work professional audio softwares. have 2 studios setup. 1 running mac pro 2009 model softwares/sessions/drivers installed. newer studio has mac pro 2010/11 has come in.
since 2 setups in different locations, wondering if have 2009 setup on portable internal drive , use carbon copy cloner have replica? or carry main internal hd 2009 mp.
work? software licenses work without re-installing or re-authorising? recovered mbp time machine backup , licenses broke , had re-authorise.
i'm trying escape pain of re-installing hundreds of softwares. work, won't running both systems simultaneously.

depends on licenses, if it's avoid pain of re-installing, can process once, taking hard drive , duplicating on new machine. depending on licenses, might have re-enter them, it.
