Aperture 3 - resource hog?

hello.

i've read this, wanted ask sensible crowd of people. aperture 3 resource hog, compared lightroom?

own lightroom 3, , it, , want - apart making real duplicates of images in favour of cascading styles in kind of text file. don't like, want changes make saved image. hence aperture consideration. read lot being resource heavy. have unibody mbp 15", 8gb ram, i5 2.4 force 3 ssd , 27" cinema display.

resource heavy? lightroom can stall when changing modules. photoshop slick, in fact rest of adobe cs5.5 suite super fast, lightroom bit clunkier.

shoot on nikon dslr's , fuji x100, adding x1 soon. library stored on gtech 3tb drive, backed second identical drive, onto server @ work.

so, aperture users, have noticed chunkiness , resource hogginess?

i'd download , try demo, don't have time.

you should give demo try, don't find resource hog, it's on mac pro 12gb of ram , seems that, there have been more reports of being ram hungry, i'd try see think, considering cost find value money , @ does, i'm looking other way, lr4 released i'm thinking of getting now.......... may run alongside aperture, not sure yet
