day after updated iphone 5.1, noticed of music gone (except stuff purchased itunes) - put down upgrading bugs , redownloaded stuff wanted.
however, last night, ipad decided same thing. however, since had been restored backup, no songs purchased on songs gone. under usage in settings, still lists 3.5gb of music exists on ipad. use itunes match, disabled , killed restarted music app no effect. have restarted ipad no avail.
loathe wipe devices, want space free put songs on. there solution this, or @ least way prevent songs being wiped ios 5.1 devices? (sorry if wrong section, seemed appropriate happened on multiple devices).
same thing happened me.
iphone 4 did same thing after updating 5.1. tried re-syncing couple of times didn't change things.
powered down phone , re-started , music , playing normal.
don't know why worked.
