Is it worth repairing an iMac G5??? (Blown capacitors)

well, after few months of sluggish performance , random hangs, kitchen imac g5 decided not start up.

screen scrambled @ boot gets blue screen video artefacts until fans start revving up. nothing advancing desktop.

opened imac @ diagnostic leds , 3 green lights showing normal power , communication.

however, noticed 2 of many capacitors blown/leaking. reading up, found out imac g5s plagued capacitor issues , repair program unfortunately ended in 2008.

now, in research, i've been seeing repair costs of $200 replacing capacitors on motherboard. don't know local apple repair depot charge. replacing capacitors might not fix machine if cpu has been over-heated.

@ point in time, worth repair machine??? think? has served it's life cycle in 8 years?

if can't repair yourself, , understand it's royal pain in behind, , it's going cost $200 or have tech it, it's not worth fixing. can buy g5 not more that, less that, depending on 17" or 20", on ebay. better option, if have money, either sell as-is $100 or so, get, or part out, use whatever money can towards mac.
