Why I can't view embedded lyrics to songs on my iPad?

i've spent lot of time past few years embedding lyrics of favorite songs in itunes can follow along in iphone.

i'm extremely disappointed find out far know new ipad doesn't have basic functionality, smfh. there i'm missing or not doing correctly?
