NFL finds that Saints violated “bounty rule”

league announced friday afternoon saints violated “bounty rule” in 2009, 2010, , 2011. specifically, nfl has concluded between 22 , 27 defensive players along @ least 1 assistant coach maintained “bounty” program. funded players, $50,000 or more available during 2009 playoffs.

“the payments here particularly troubling because involved not payments ‘performance,’ injuring opposing players,” commissioner goodell said in league-issued release. “the bounty rule promotes 2 key elements of nfl football: player safety , competitive integrity.

good thread. think going blow , goodell going spank saints hard. i'm sure other teams it...i wouldn't surprised.

sure bet brett favre's ankle screaming, "do ya think!?!" in reference blatant late hit took in minny - no nfc champ game few years ago. love him or hate him (favre), late hit , blatant attempt injure. i've felt , story confirms imho.

i'm not fan of either team btw opinion isn't biased.
