hey guys,
done loads of searching on internet , on forum , can't find answer exactly.
have mac pro @ work , 3rd , perhaps 4th monitor on it.
system profiler tells me have ati radeon hd 2600. tried random pny (cheap) pci-e graphics card, booted mac pro , detected it, no output monitor.
assume mac pro's need specific graphics cards, ie 1 have? best/cheapest way of doing simple case of buying exact same card?
in advance, cheers.
you either buy mac compatible gpu, though depending on mac pro model, not cards work every mp, should @ least tell mp have.
or buy windows compatible gpu (a bit cheaper) , flash work mac os x.
both flashing , model specific gpus there lot of threads around.
either browse sub-forum, use advanced search or wait fed , maybe tell model , budget have.
