Lion iCal Attachments - Missing?

i started using icloud (specifically find mac). stupidly included calendar. attachments in calendar events long gone. had known have happened have never selected option when selecting/setting icloud. want use feature find mac , iphone, there easy way of getting option of attaching files calendar events?
