Is there a way to configure home button behavior?

using ipod touch 4. there setting lets me change home button does? want disable "task switcher" pops on double click.

when using app , want go home screen, push home button. nothing happens, after 2-3 seconds push again , task switcher opens. click again close that, , click again exit home screen. have click 4 times return home screen. figure if can turn off "multitasker" can fixed. never use thing anyway.

 

what if..

think can not change "double click" latest versions however...

if go "settings"->"general"->"accessibility"->"triple-click home"?

use "triple-click"...
