[Idea] Use old cellphone as 4.11.08 bridge?

okay, might sound crazy, have idea. there product called skyroam allows use 2nd sim card single sim iphone/ipad/android device. uses bluetooth connection not have baseband or locked carrier. if me, purchased , iphone 4 ios5 pre-installed. so, stuck on 4.11.08 idea use old cellphone bluetooth connection can use t-mobile sim. idea on how can this?
