i walking home 1 morning friends house. not kidding, 2 13" macbook pros sitting in snow no 1 found. curiously, of course, walk on them , begin inspecting them. now, keep in mind saturday night/sunday morning @ 4 a.m. , live in prestigious college town known it's drinking. own own macbook pro (15") know little these computers.
1st macbook pro description.
first 1 noticed looks has been dropped quite few times. it's having issues closing completely. connected power cord , nothing happened. no light showed on charger, no sound came forward when tried turn on. seems pretty dead.
2nd macbook pro description.
second 1 in lot better shape first one. plugged in did first 1 time there green light showing on charger (which think means battery still functioning) laptop looks has been dropped few times - not many times first one, though. held down power button (with plugged in) , typical macbook sound went off it's turning on loading. screen black able see page former owner on when last used it. so, screen works... degree. fan started running when turned on feel computer has potential.
talked few friends pretty handy computers , recommended involved in forum discussion , maybe i'll derive answers.
so, i'm on here asking , suggestions on beneficial way go situation be. i'm not going return them owners. stupid enough throw macbook pros around doesn't deserve back. have checked on apple's website , both computers registered serial number on - sucks.
please, has either dealt similar situation or has advice, please me out. thank you
