i deleted , re-downloaded facebook, facebook messenger (along instagram) apps seemed growing in terms of space using (assuming cache wasnt clearing) , taking free space on iphone.
resolved now, facebook , facebook messenger red icon badges no longer showing. still notification in lock screen , notification centre (ios5) per normal, no little red icon badge numbers anymore.
have logged out of them, rebooted iphone (4/32gb) , logged in, checked notification settings etc correct, turned "badge app icon" off , on, turned notification centre setting off , on, deleted , re-downloaded them both again..
come across , know how fix it?
just wanted seeing same here too. did reboot, reload, check settings , jazz too. still no red badges.
don't have solution, suspect being app seems tpo more of glorified web app these days, , fb makes network changes more change socks, can assume issue on fb's server side. prolly did updates reciently , forgot check box somewhere.
wanted chime in not 1 issue.
