Can someone help with mac mail?

hey guys

have macbook pro 3 years old. use mac mail 6 of email accounts. has been great today said incoming 77 new messages , 9 , freeze . im assuming tried send me large file , clogging mail. or perhaps else happening. tried force quite handful of times , turning internet off , on no luck. mail normal, suggestions gurus?

 

does e-mail have web interface? log in browser see if it's large file attachment causing hangup.
