MPEG2 1080i 29,97: Compressor shows me as 23,98 progressive

hi,

new mac user (i have imac i7 2011 lion 10.7.3) , starting use compressor 4 needs.

in these days use compressor 4 files (to reencode them h264 save space), tipically mpeg program stream, 1920x1080i, video mpeg2, 29.97fps (with telecine), audio ac3.

if import 1 of these files in compressor, inspector window shows me file progressive 23,98 fps.

mediainfo, videospec, imediahud or ffmpeg shows me (correctly) 29,97 interlaced.

know why compressor shows me wrong informations frame rate?
