Partition?

i'm having issues making mac partition bigger, had delete old 1 apple recommended due battery draining. it's okay new partition, both circled in pictures can't combine them macinstosh hd, , disk04, can't delete.

do have external hdd clone macintosh hd onto?

how format new hdd/ssd install mac os x or make bootable copy onto​

if so, clone macintosh hd partition via carboncopycloner , boot clone, erase internal hdd , format properly, clone onto internal hdd.

btw, partitions shouldn't have effect on battery drainage.
