g4 iMac: media server?

so have been pondering thought of using g4 imac media server apple tv. question 1ghz 1gb ram running 10.5 sufficient enough use? not means main use, have high end 11" air that.

opinions/suggestions welcome

 

when use emac throw videos @ atv, notice cpu usage stays low. system not different mine, think should work fine. after video decoding handled apple tv. in effect tend use atv sort of hardware extension computers, using clicktoplugin , airflick stream hd videos net tv. little black box can companion ppc mac.


ps: maybe know that, if plan use clicktoplugin airplay not upgrade atv software above 4.3
