Macbook 4.1 - SSD vs. 7200RPM

my 2008 macbook white (4.1, non unibody) getting little slow liking , want give nice speed boost. i've decided easiest way possible tossing in 4gb of ram (some places can hold 6 4 should fine) , faster hard drive.

i'm trying decide is, hard drive? kind of sata have know need 1 of slower ssd's worth money or should buy 7200 rpm hdd additional speed boost? either 1 speed i'm sure , know ssd faster costs more.

hdd right 160gb , ssd i've looked 120 plenty. imac , externals used actual storage, macbook portability i'm not worried storage. have 100gb full right though need @ least space. plus plan buy enclosure , put old hard drive storage.

opinions , suggestions appreciated. thanks.

any opinions @ all?
