hi everybody,
have at&t lte ipad. live in miami , in part of town, cannot verizon lte service, , at&t has not turned on lte in miami @ all. went at&t ipad because hspa+ in area faster (6 mbps down, 1 mbps up) verizon's 3g (1 mbps down, >1 up)....
have 1 day exchange ipad verizon version -- , moving sarasota in 3 months, , working in tampa area.
can lives there post lte data speeds both companies? wont able test myself until after 14 days up! not care absurd speeds people getting (30 mbps , up)... lte @ least +12 mbps down... have heard mixed reviews at&t lte. people in chicago (from thread here) getting slower lte speeds on hspa+.
hope replies before 14 days (tomorrow).. hate sarasota find out have subpar lte at&t speeds. if exchange verizon, can keep current att sim card , keep hspa+ on verizon ipad in miami until move in 3 months! if tell me at&t in areas, keep have , not worry exchanging anything.
ps: folks live in orlando if area wants reply well, appreciated. everybody!
i got 27.40 mbps download , 21.68 mbps upload last night @ orlando airport. other day, @ bmw dealer off i-4/lee road, got 21.27 down, less 1 up.
noticed within city limits, speed great. start moving toward outskirts, ymmv.
