target display mode on iMac 2011

not working due thunderbolt requirement(source , destination both must thunderbolt equipped).

basically, apple gave 99.9% of cannot use(either no thunderbolt peripheral or way damn expensive) , broke 1 great feature of previous imac.

way go apple.

 

you can use ethernet cable between macs if thunderbolt not viable, agree, it's been bit of washout really...used mine once , put in it's packaging.
