well purchased second mac mini. got base model. mini replacing old 2007 mini has worked great until month ago when started getting kernel panics. tried keep old mini working, installing lion scratch twice , went , reinstalled snow leopard. looks me problem memory related. took mini apart , reseated memory cards. thought buying new memory decided no, i'd go ahead , buy new mini because know ml won't run on old mini. little disappointed old mini lasted 5 years, guess pretty far computers go. went base system figuring can add on more memory if need be, far performance great, better of course old mini. i'm looking forward ml being released. wonder how many people know mini. great way mac family of computers. every time hear friend talk buying new computer recommend mini. think mac's expensive , when tell them can mac $599 amazed. anyway, thought i'd share satisfaction new mini.
oh 1 final thing, purchased mini @ best buy , price $30 cheaper @ apple store. keep in mind.
i'm going buy mini refreshed ivy bridge, summer. heads on bb.
