Need help fixing macbook easy problem

my speakers on computer work flawless when plug headphones in no sound..its not headphones , did play system preferences reset them if how or do..thank

 

did headphones ever work? sound stop going through speakers if computer recognizes headphones? time i've heard of when headphone jack gets damaged inside computer. apple care should able take care of it.
