My 1080p videos are actually 800 or 816...

i have lot of 1080p movies on mac mini media centre. gonna convert them using handbrake or ivi pro new ipad, noticed 800 or 816 pixels high, not 1080. guess black bars top , bottom, question still ok convert them , full quality/size?

ask because on thread suggested setting handbrake atv2 preset, them manually change vertical res 1080, because videos saying they're 8xx high, handbrake won't let me input "1080"...

 

i believe based on black bars on 16:9 tv, 1080p videos meant played.

how is, if included full 1080 height videos wider 16:9 aspect ratios horizontal resolution go way , video files far larger without helping users.
