Messages and Mail not working after installing DP2?

i installed dp2 of mountain lion yesterday , messages (both sending , receiving) , mail (only sending) stopped working. there thing i'm missing?

 

i had go mail preferences , click on icloud clicked advanced tab , change port 993 make work. not know why automatic setup had port wrong.

notice mail uses lot of processor/ram

lot more lion
