Macbook Air 13" 2011 128GB:Battery life and Boot times

i seem getting slow boot times , short battery life on new mba13 (2011).

boot time (from power on desktop): ~18 20 seconds (room mates older 2010 mba13 boots in 12-14 seconds desktop on sl, different os , different hardware, both older)

battery life 5 hours (50% brightness, keyboard backlight turned off, no apps running except browser , constant multi tab browsing), replicating apple's battery rundown test use come battery figures.

sadly close 7 hours stated on website or 8-10 hours can out of room mates 2010 mba13 running sl using identical workloads!

guys getting , should realistically expect?
