iTunes spinning beachball

this consistently happening when edit tags of videos. i'm editing tags of 1 video @ time when occurring. should simple tag edit this? wrong? before called applecare, thought i'd check folks. i'm using lion on 2011 imac. updated. i'd appreciate or advice.
