i have iphone 4 , trying sync photo library windows pc (newest version of itunes) iphone 4. entire photo library 37,000 photos. divided 12 folders. majority of 12 folders have under 200 pictures in them, 1 has 1700 photos , biggest folder has 29,000. when tell itunes sync master folder other 12 reside in. sync's folders alphabeticly , stops (as if finished sucessfully) after getting around 5,000 big folder 29,000 in it. (the 'big folder' alphabeticly 4th folder) ignores remaining 24,000 pictures in big folder , other 8 folders entirely.
if manually choose 11 of 12 folders excluding big folder, works flawlessly. leaving other 11 still checked if check 12th folder (the big one) sync around 5,000 of them , act if completed sucessfully. if tell sync again sync around 5,000 , stop if successful. bringing big folders total on device 10,000. 3rd sync not return results.
have taken following steps: un-synced photos , started scratch, deleted itunes photo cache folder. assumtion itunes/iphone not built handle folders more x amount of photos in it. please
