okay have 15" mac book pro it's mid 2011 model running latest lion software, first issue i'm having trackpad seems either sticking , or missing spring or something. nothing ever spilled on nor abused, i.e beaten on. it's quite erratic, slightest touch. , visibly not same, nor feel "right". second issue im having if leave mac running till battery dies has 1 of 2 problems, first being won't save changes made prior to. had edited bunch of photos , moved them folders , next day, in same place night before. 2nd issue , @ least twice now, upon booting freezes leaving me endless white screen , circle spinning , tried restart same result , reset pram same result , ran hardware test shows good, have restore work again. have ideas? track pad can replaced? if tried searching online find replacement pads no luck sell oem trackpads? in advance solutions, comments, or questions.
your mac still covered 1 year limited warranty. bring/ship apple or apple service provider, , have trackpad fixed.
other problems i'm not sure. did disable sleepimage?
