ok, i've owned iphone since iphone 4 launch , of course upgraded 4s on launch.


know basics jailbraking, think, customise phone , possibly app free ?


i'm thinking doing of course before jump i'm hoping can guide me though how it.


*now think there no jailbreak ios 5.1 , 4s yet if true word on when available ?*


questions if can answer


1. basics steps before jailbraking ?

assume data in itunes ?

settings saved e.g when jailbreak, high scores , saved progress still on iphone apps afterwords ?


other data saved ? contacts ? notes ? calender ?

still have access itunes via apps ?

still able update apps (heard mention not possible jail broken apps ?)


2. when updating firmware, how files ?

still use itunes ?

3. can plug jail broken iphone itunes ?

4. once update youre iphone firmware, have manually re-download apps after re-jailbraking ?

, lose saved files , information ?
