Apple Loses Appeal in Italian Warranty Disclosures Case
last year, apple fined $1.2 million in italy on how company advertises warranty customers. italy's antitrust regulators ruled apple has not been providing adequate disclosures 2 free years of product warranty assistance required under italian law, while pushing customers purchase applecare extended warranties without disclosing many of benefits overlap standard warranty.
