Airport Express and Transmit rate

hello!

thinking there way speed our wireless connection...

started wireless router - actiontec 1000 telus. max transmit rate 130. speedtest.net 14.5mbps , 1mbps.

not bad pretty quick thinking can't ap express 300?

put ap express wired off the router , boom - transmit rate of 300 consistently!

great right?

speedtest.net 14.9mpbs 1mbps...

anyway bumped up?

realization - if ~14.5 fast going , 130 transmit rate can handle that... 300 isn't speeding up?

not going improvement in internet bandwidth. internal bandwidth has increased. test copying file between 2 computers on local network.
