AppleCare Repair Service question

hi guys, (just brief story) on tuesday 13.3" mid-2009 mbp began lose keyboard functionality out of blue. try , correct it, rebooted computer , failed passed spinning gear. able access login-screen upon safe booting, pw not enter correctly, presumably because of messed keyboard. brought apple @ 5th ave. , guy looked @ , still not boot after trying external hd among other things. when bought computer in august 2009, purchased $249 applecare, guy said free fix @ service center unless find liquid damage. far aware, liquid has never come near keyboard or anything; after sending mac out, began browsing forums laptop's symptoms, , lot of people these symptoms (keyboard going first, no boot) seems linked liquid damage. discovered handful of people phone calls stating there liquid damage mb (without them ever knowing liquid damaged), , applecare voided.

on repair status, says "repair completed" , awaiting return store. mean have not been charged anything? extremely paranoid in situations this, have 2 roommates , afraid 1 of them spilled on , isn't telling me, because mac working fine before had left day. don't want go pick mac , see have been smacked $1000 repair fee. thanks, guys, sorry seem nut!!

if didn't give credit card information, can't charge you. they're not going repair mac @ cost without telling first , getting authorization charges, or giving opportunity refuse service, if don't want pay repair.
