Turning "Cellular Data" off??

bit of noob question, want make sure 1 correct before traveling out of country next week.

turning "cellular data" off keep me incurring voice/data fees?

still want connect wifi stream music , facetime. thanks.

 

turning cellular data off turns off data ... turn airplane mode on turn off everything. can go , turn wifi on while in airplane mode use wifi.
