Replacement for X1900 - Maybe

my g5 seems have issues may video card?

- screen gets lines in it
- screen blotches in it. windows distorted , weird.
- doesn't come on start up. appears running, nothing on monitor (30" apple)
- of time on restart comes up, need 2,3 or 4 times.
less times, longer wait.
- watching video's / movies online causes freeze
- when working in of drawing applications, there blotches of colors showing up
can rid of resetting window size. these come longer i'm working in application
, longer mac has been on.
- fast movement of mouse or going corners can cause happen well.

thoughts folks?

if it's bad, should replace same type, or there better one, , if so, what?

mac running 10.5.8
30" apple monitor
graphics programs

have external running 10.6.4 when need use newer software

not many options g5 these days. ebay maybe. awesome can run 10.6 on impossible.
