GoogleDesktopDAE process using ridiculous amounts of CPU

right, i've read few threads on here , few other forums bullsh*te surrounding pain-in-the-arse google desktop, i've tried solution seemed work people (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=634221) no avail.

i've tried downloading, reinstalling , uninstalling googledesktop still have process called googledesktopdae, can see in activity monitor, running , using 94-97% of cpu capacity.

process seems pick (from 5-6% 80-97%) after coming out of sleep.

pretty annoying, s'pose it's fault not uninstalling when got rid of google desktop first time.

i'm running 10.5.8 on mid 2009 macbook pro.

ideas?
