Time Machine & External Drive Questions

hi,
have 500gb seagate goflex external drive i'll using backup , have couple questions.

#1. how space need time machine? have 320gbs of space in macbook pro, 225gbs free. partitioned drive time machine gets 250gbs. or not enough?

#2. can move time machine files macbook pro's hard drive, reformat external drive time machine partition larger, move time machine files larger partition , still work before? thats if started runout of space.

#3. there base station external drive link router allowing network drive. wondering if able backup time machine wirelessly?

the time machine backup expand fill space available. more space have available backup, longer can keep historical backups before deleted create space newer ones. have heard people backup hd twice size of backing up. appropriate.
