Mac mini server 2011 USB ports issue

hello all,

have mac mini server, has 4 usb ports. home recording , use usb audio interface, connected time. issue i've been having is.....

when try , attach usb webcam, while sound card plugged in, camera struggles appears power issue. if unplug sound card camera works fine. isn't problem allocating audio in/outs.

i'm guessing here, seems mini can't handle usb action.

anyone, had similar experience>>??

cheers

problem attaching both devices, exceeding maximum "bus power" mini capable of supplying. macs not provide usb bus power pc's, reasons seem apple's own.

possible solutions:
- usb audio interface have "power block" can use (instead of powering via usb power)? if so, use instead.
- have "powered" usb hub around? if so, try attaching first 1 of usb ports, , plugging 1 (or both?) of devices it, instead.
