Testing Lion on Macbook

hi guys

thinking of upgrading lion worried performace hit on 2008 2.4 ghz macbook. have 4 gigs of ram installed wondering if test lion on spare hdd have.

want remove current hdd , install spare, install lion cd or usb , test out speed. if didnt performance put old drive sl in.

above cause issues?

sure,it cause little bit of problem, loose of performance, if don't have lot of things going on, it's ok. if want upgrade lion, recommend use secondary computer. hope helps.
