old events (like week ago) not deleted, events not transferred, items deleted on phone recreated. it's real mess. surely must not person having these problems? there problems @ dst boundary, these may related that, under 5.1 things much, worse.
gave on notes because sync process replacing updated notes old versions. got old versions wasn't sure, because happened whether updated them on pc or on phone. nobody else had ever heard of happening...
remember iphone sync reliable when using ical on mac. no longer have mac syncs (since ppc tiger not supported), have use outlook 2003, , it's bad i'm thinking of giving , getting (shudder) windows phone. need organizer usable; have 200 calendar items.
personally, gave on using 3rd party interface calendar, contacts , email. use icloud all, though took while set up.
had these in gmail account, forwarded email icloud , had contacts synced. mess turned out be. contacts list duplicated , tripl-icated. deletions weren't deleted. old data showed up. when lost calendar, figured if have recreate calendar, i'm doing in icloud. haven't been sorry. works extremely , in sync (iphone , ipad , pc - www.icloud.com).
