iPad Ipad 2 (5.0.1, jailbroken) won't "erase all settings"

hi there,

i'm getting ipad 2 16gb ready sell. i'm trying wipe using "erase content , settings" option. when select it, "spins" endlessly. let run on 24 hrs (thinking maybe had deep erase) no luck. power off , on, , comes normal screens of data , apps. suggestions?

tried restore base 5.0.1 firmware, got "not eligible" message , couldn't figure out how fix (verified hosts file not contain apple gs server).

thoughts?

you can't restore a5 devices ios 5 , higher when reusing shsh blobs. you'll have manually remove data.
