I need to format my HD for Windows & Mac..

i have 1tb iomega harddisk bought when used use windows desktop. got movies, music , stuff. used: 427gb. available: 573gb. obviously, can read hd on mac. want able use read , write on mac , windows platforms. have backup data hd onto macbook means time bring time machine business, don't know how operate tm need assistance that. , need disk utility after backing (with tm) done.

well, writing both partitions on hdd use paragons ntfs mac (not free, worth $$) - allows read/write windows partition.

tm easy use.

don't understand it? - need in disk utility?
