Fresh install on MBP can't find newly install hard drive.

i bought new 250gb hard drive, prepping sale due last hard drive crashing. installed correctly, popped in snow leopard cd , can not find disk install on.

 

guide on how use disk utility restore / installation dvd.

how format new hdd/ssd install mac os x or make bootable copy onto​
