i've read threads sorta touch on this, no real answers. i'm new mac world , bought mini week ago. know mac doesn't play blu ray, i'm trying rip blu rays makemkv can process them handbrake. problem is, can't makemkv recognize disk drive begin with. know drive works installed office earlier today, i'm wondering why won't show up? lg website useless well. thoughts/advice? in advance.

anyway, what's model of br drive? used have lg till power surge killed it..it kind ripping , didn't need drivers.
