two question:
1. crack on screen of macbook pro covered under applecare protection plan? have researched isn't.
leads me second question
2. friend dropped laptop off desk , started messing , took computer store , fixed free because covered under applecare.
how can be? both drops aren't both under applecare! wondering applecare covers , why important buy!
technically drop not covered either incidental damage not covered under applecare. thing is, if see no visible damage , issues presented normal issue (and friend neglected tell them happened after drop), cover under applecare (and depending if place less truthful, may repair under warranty warranty work can billed @ higher rates).
crack in screen hard considered manufacturing defect, considered incidental damage , not covered applecare, if purchased @ best buy geek squad extended plan (depending on plan), drops , incidental damages covered part of warranty coverage.
