AOL mail box linking - how to recover POP emails

i linked aol account mac pop acc. realised imap acc better set too. messages coming in duplicated decided delete pop mailbox on mac. horror-most of emails deleted (from 2009 onwards until jan 2012) can still see sent folder , couple of folders stands nothing else on either mail app or aol web sign in. can advise how me recover them? much.

 

pop emails mean emails transferred mail server computer. if deleted them gone.

first check see if they're in wastebasket in mail app and/or osx's trash.

i'm assuming don't have up. if case, highly recommend using osx's time machine.

bottom line if they're off mail server , deleted them off computer they're gone
