2006 iMac problems and questions.

hi guys,

i've 2006 imac has started mess around , wondering if me.

has started turn off randomly in power off. after not power on unless plugged out , left 5 minutes , it'll work awhile , same thing again.

know cause this? psu, logic board, ram? wondering if it's worth while fixing it..... it's not software formatted hard drive , installing snow leopard , happened again.

side questions: know late 2006 logic boards can used in model (the core 2 duo models) possible fit 17" logic board in 20" imac?

leave thing off hour or so. start , use istat see if fans running correctly. if fan worth saving.

not sure logic board - doubt it. others know more.
