so in market laptop , have 60gb ssd put 13 inch macbook pro if buy or buy 13 inch macbook air. everyone's opinion on 13 inch pro vs air performance money, travel, , work. not trying edit videos or movies normal work tasks, watch movies, travel lot , need battery , can last me awhile on charge. know right macbook pro mid product life cycle vs air close end wise wait see how air updated or go ahead , now.
have work laptop mean can wait if need love computers , got itch lol
i'd ignore performance. mbp more powerful, slight amount, not worth consideration.
following big differences are, in eyes, weight, size, , displays.
mbp weighs around 50% more mba, , has higher resolution display, , lot thicker.
mba has higher resolution display mbp, colour gamut doesn't come close. deciding factor me; mba display difficult focus on me. you, might not case.
in terms of expandability, both virtually same, no matter people say. mba missing optical drive (could factor might want rip movies), ethernet port, , sd card slot. whether these matter you, can call.
