Poor SSD transfer rates

hi all, apologies if has been covered have tried searching , not found issue. i've got 08 mp , i've chucked in vertex 3. cloned original os drive , much faster transfer benchmarks run show maximum of 175mb/s read and/or write. i'm using this card should give me sata 3 speeds. ideas?

 

from where transfer?
can use following applications benchmark speed of ssd:

• aja system test
• blackmagic disk speed test
• xbench
