Parallels: MIgrating from PC Question

i've tried looking on parallels support on i've come nothing, i've tried brief search here again no definitive response.


if use parallels 7 migrate windows machine mac, in way affect existing windows installation on pc? concerned if , don't performance may end losing exisiting desktop pc.



experiences appreciated.

 

no, bundles os, programs (and optionally standard user data documents, music, etc.) image , moves mac.

did hp migrate image on parallels. worked great (i moved on data manually).

issue however, licensing , activation. once got vm , running needed activation in few days. worked fine, , i've since booted hp briefly, believe there issue old hp machine ... effect of not allowing future updates, etc.

however, believe re-activate hp if needed.

in same boat, moving on development environment, , if had failed, need old machine , running asap.
